• You can use your Vanilla MasterCard® Gift Card immediately after purchase.
  • Know your card balance before you shop, as merchants cannot determine the balance on your card. If you try to purchase an item of greater value than your card balance, your card will be declined.
  • To purchase an item that costs more than the balance on your card you will need to use a second payment method, such as cash, check, or other credit or check card, for the difference. Let the cashier know how much you will pay with each type of payment when you make your purchase. Not all merchants accept split transactions.
  • At the time of purchase, give the card to the cashier and sign the receipt or push "credit" on the keypad. If you wish to use your card for a debit transaction, you will need to select a PIN of your choice for your Card. See the Frequently Asked Questions to learn more about selecting your PIN.
  • Write down your card number and keep it in a safe place.
  • If you forget your PIN, you may clear and reset your PIN on this website by logging in with your Card number and choosing "Manage PIN".
  • Remember to sign the back of your card.
  • Your Vanilla MasterCard Gift Card cannot be used to pay at the pump. In order to pay with you card, you will need to pay inside.
  • Please remember that when you are out for dinner and using your card at the restaurant that if the bill is for $50 they will process a request for $60 in anticipation of a 20% tip. Thus if you have a $50 card the purchase will be declined.
  • Your Vanilla MasterCard Gift Card does not have ATM access and you may not use your Card to get cash back at the point of sale.
  • It is recommended that you keep all receipts of purchases made with your Vanilla MasterCard Gift Card.
  • There are no cash refunds.
